The project
The project is a concept for the Laundry Industry which is very much unorganised. This project helps the individuals to put up their laundry orders online and rest will be taken care by the laundry app from picking up, laundry and drop off at residence with all the latest process updates. Here individual can opt for the various laundry services with their chosen dates of pick up with and without extra special delivery charges.
Driver plays very crucial role here where they need to honour the orders and keep updating live status with photographs for more confidence of the customers.
The Challenge
- Challenge in this project was the ideal mobile app development i.e., with a solution on how to phase out to make sure first phase becomes perfect so that user can start using it with convenience & confidence and project get the further funding for the further phases.
- Challenge was to keep flow simple yet give the users the best convenient options.
- Project required the complete transparency and live updates to users with each stage of processing.
- There were certain small business flow which were intriguing.
The Solution
- Webmantra did proper understanding of the concept and did research for the similar services for developing a mobile app for on-demand laundry services offered by the company.
- We came up with the flow with 3 phases starting from simple start and then go further with analysis of the first phase along with planned features and functionalities.
- Identified the technology platform so that It can support current and evolving phases taking care of the resource availability with economics inline in coming time.
- Front end UI has been designed simple yet intuitive that all different users from technical to non technical, different age groups can use it easily.
- Laundry delivery app has been created very user-friendly for the digital start-up to use considering them to be be most non technical and they can make sure to update the information at each and every step from accepting or rejecting the pickup to picking up and dropping off updates.
- Laundry Mobile Apps has been developed hybrid and cross platform so changes can be adapted for the important sections well and faster without updates of the app.
- Certain last minute changes has been done as per the Apple App store and Android play store to launch faster with better visibility of app in the endless apps on the respective stores.
- Testing has been done well from various technical and non technical user usage of the laundry application.
- There are two version of laundry mobile application i.e., one for the users / customers and other for drivers and backend admin for the admin to manage various sections easily.
- Website Landing page has been set with the available area of serviceability, prices and download the app.
