The project

This is amazing conceptual website of quiz and competition. The mission is to support non-league football clubs by organizing exciting quizzes and competitions with great prizes for football fans AND your local teams. Here there are weekly draws and winners are selected by the third-party neutral platform to keep up website’s authenticity.

The Challenge

Project is flow was good but needed business logic confirmation to match the government norms.
Winner identification has to be very fair else nobody will truth the website and participate.

The Solution

Project documentation was created to finalize the scope and define the business logic for the quizzes and competition. With this the developers got the clear idea of the development logic and the site management check the compliance with the government norms to run such website.
For authenticity of the winner we have taken integration from third party i.e. Randompicker.com which selects the winner considering multiple parameters.

Features

A weekly drawing event spans from Monday to Sunday.
Users register on on the site and receive one free question credit.
To participate in quizzes, users must purchase 10 credits from three distinct package types: Playoff, Promotion, or Champion.
Users can engage in quizzes as long as they have question credits available.
Users have the option to select the quiz difficulty, and their points for correct answers will vary (3, 2, or 1).
A weekly leaderboard displays users in descending order of points, with the highest scorer at the top.
At the week's end, a draw takes place, generating an Excel file shared with a third party, such as randompicker.com.
The random picker considers point weightage in determining winners, who are subsequently imported to the site.
Winners receive 50% of the prize money, with the other 50% awarded to their respective club.
